Must be a Single Mom - Our definition of a single mom is a mom who is not married to, dating, or living with her child(ren)’s father. You are absolutely welcome to date other people. However, if you move into a cohabiting relationship or get married, this group will no longer be the right fit for you.

We kindly ask that everyone is honest about their relationship status, as this group is intentionally designed to support moms navigating single motherhood independently.

If you do not qualify for this group but are looking for support as a mom, we’d be happy to connect you with local groups and resources.

Our hope with DSM is to provide single moms with a safe space to share, find resources, and connect with other moms who have similar stories—while having some fun too.

We begin at 6:00 pm with children checking into childcare while moms enjoy dinner together. Children will have dinner in their childcare rooms. The rest of the evening includes a different activity each gathering, such as crafts, self-care projects, or small group discussions to help moms connect on a deeper level. We wrap up at 8:00 pm, when moms pick up their children from childcare.

• Babies stay with mom during group.

• 🍽 Dinner is provided at every meeting. Since this may be your first time attending DSM, please know that the moms’ meals are different from the kids’ meals. Because we are working within a set food budget, we intentionally prioritize meals that help us create a meaningful and nourishing experience for moms.

  If your child may not enjoy what is being served, we kindly ask that you bring an alternative meal or snack from home for them. This helps us stay within budget while still caring well for everyone in attendance.
